Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Deadline 18-Dec-2019 Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower middle income Commonwealth countries, for full-time Master’s study on selected courses, jointly supported by UK universities. Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), Commonwealth Shared Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. These scholarships are offered under six themes: Science and technology for development Strengthening health systems and capacity Promoting global prosperity Strengthening global peace, security and governance Strengthening resilience and response to crises Access, inclusion and opportunity..

Global UGRAD

The 2020-2021 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) is open now!                                  Deadline December 31, 5:00pm EST. The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.  It is a fully-funded scholarship for one semester of non- degree academic study at an assigned U.S. college or university. Participants are emerging leaders committed to their home communities.  During the Program, Global UGRAD participants challenge themselves to explore U.S. society, culture, and academic learning.  They also participate in community service and enhance their professional skills. All participants will be enrolled in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate course work chosen from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Participants will be required to take one, 3-credit U.S. studies course to enhance their understanding of the United States. Participants will live in campus housing facilities with American peers, and will be required to participate in twenty hours of community service. EdTech changemakers

Deadline 10-Dec-2019 Injini is now accepting applications for their next cohort of EdTech changemakers in Africa. If applicants are one of the selected Cohort 4 startups, applicants will participate in a five-month incubation programme that will take place both in Cape Town, South Africa and in their home market, where the team will support applicants remotely. Injini covers the cost of international and domestic return flights to Cape Town, accommodation for the duration of Phase 1 and 2 and extends basic living stipends to subsidise the higher cost of living in Cape Town compared to other African cities.
