Call for Proposals for Capacity Building of Technical Institutions
involved in the provision of climate change education, training
and scientific research services in the Comesa Region

The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) is
inviting submissions from eligible institutions in the COMESA region
which are providing climate change-related education, technical and
policy research, training and other climate change related services.
The objective of the assignment is to build Climate Change capacity in the
region specifically in one or more of the following areas of (but not limited
to):
 implementation of the Paris Agreement;
 transparency and reporting;
 ecosystem-based Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) solutions;
 adaptation;
 mitigation;
 disaster risk management;
 resilience-building;
 climate change leadership.
Funding Information
The funding envelope available for this call is EUR 209,090 in the form of a
grant, and COMESA is seeking proposals for projects and programmes not
exceeding that amount.
