14th United Nations Democracy Fund is now Open for Applications Deadline Date – 22-Dec-2019 The United Nations Democracy Fund is expected to open its next proposal window on 22 November 2019. The window is expected to remain open for a month. Only project proposals submitted on-line in either English or French, the two working languages of the UN, will be accepted. UNDEF supports projects that strengthen the voice of civil society, promote human rights, and encourage the participation of all groups in democratic processes. UNDEF projects are two years long. Applicants can request a grant of a minimum of 100,000 US dollars and a maximum of 300,000 US dollars. The project funded out of this expression of interest will: design and lead action research on scaling across Knowledge and Innovation Exchange-funded projects; conduct additional research that engages multiple perspectives on the processes and critical success factors on scaling education innovations in GPE member countries; and use findings from this research to produce practical and conceptual guidance on scaling that balances quality, equity, efficiency, and sustainability for education systems and outcomes in developing country contexts.
